Outdoor expeditions are a fantastic way to give depth and understanding to the school-based learning experience. Seeing is understanding! Participants find themselves in new environments, out of their comfort zone, opening their minds to new ways of looking at life, leading to important advances in physical, personal and social education.
Way Out Experiences does this in a fun and exciting way, using a method that combines learning and experience, otherwise known as experiential learning. Only the finest educationalists are used to bring cultures, geography, politics, languages and environment to life, relating meaning to each student's life. Team-building, respect, integrity and self-development are all at the core of a Way Out Experience.

The trips are designed so that enjoyment is maximised. Accommodation is always good, food always plentiful and there is always a member of staff on hand to listen and help out if needed. All our groups are small in number which means that each individual participant is well cared for and looked after. During any activity there is a maximum pupil to teacher ratio of 3:1. This is central to our high standard of education.
Without ever realising it, participants are being educated and asked to analyse their responses and behaviours. All tasks are related to the Curriculum and have a pedagogic element to them. Pupils are included in their own analysis and it is this inclusive and honest approach that brings out the best in participants, maximising potential and bringing out mature responses to challenging situations.

Motivational team-building events and games, learning about new cultures, facing exciting physical and mental challenges, honesty and integrity, forging new friendships and discovering a world of opportunities; these are all outcomes of a Way Out Experiences expedition.
Expeditions are open to private individuals. For more information, click on the following Health & Safety, Activities, Providers or our Ethical and Environmental Policy.
